Terms of Service

Last updated : April 28, 2026

1. Scope

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the iFillPDF website and application (“the Service”) accessible at https://ifillpdf.com, published by the company identified in the Legal Notice (“the Company”).

By accessing the Service or creating an account, you (“the User”) acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms without reservation.

2. Service description

2.1. Features

iFillPDF is a Software-as-a-Service that allows the User to:

  • upload PDF forms;
  • automatically extract fillable fields using artificial intelligence;
  • fill detected fields manually or with the AI assistant;
  • electronically sign documents;
  • share documents for signature with third parties via secure link;
  • export finalized documents as PDF.

2.2. AI limitations

The Service uses artificial intelligence models (notably AWS Textract, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) to analyse and complete forms. While the Company implements all reasonable means to ensure the reliability of these processes, the User acknowledges that results produced by the AI may contain errors or inaccuracies. It is the User's responsibility to verify the filled content before validation, signature or transmission to a third party.

2.3. Availability

The Company endeavours to maintain Service availability 24/7, without however being able to guarantee it. Access may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates or force majeure, without engaging the Company's liability.

3. User account

3.1. Account creation

Use of the Service beyond the limited free features requires the creation of a personal account. The User undertakes to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Account creation is reserved for natural persons of legal age (18 years or older) or legal entities acting through a legal representative.

3.2. Account security

The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any action taken from their account is deemed to have been performed by them. In the event of suspected fraudulent use, the User must immediately change their password and notify the Company at contact@ifillpdf.com.

3.3. Account deletion

The User can delete their account at any time from their personal area. Deletion results in the permanent loss of access to stored documents and associated data, subject to legal retention obligations binding on the Company (notably accounting and fraud prevention).

4. Offers and features

iFillPDF offers no subscription: every paid offer is a one-time purchase, with no renewal and no recurring charge. The only paid lever is AI Deep Detect (deep AI field detection that finds and names fields) together with watermark removal on export.

The Service offers the following:

  • Free — free of charge, unlimited-time access to core features (checkbox detection, fill, sign, edit), watermark applied on export, 0 AI Deep Detect;
  • Lifetime$8.99 paid once: lifetime access to the Service as provided, watermark-free exports, no additional fee and no renewal;
  • AI Deep Detect credit packs — one-time purchases of 10 credits ($11), 50 credits ($38) or 200 credits ($87); 1 credit = 1 document deeply analysed by the AI (fields found and named); credits never expire.

Detailed purchase conditions are set out in the Terms of Sale.

5. User obligations

The User undertakes to:

  • comply with applicable laws and regulations, in particular regarding data protection and intellectual property;
  • upload only documents for which they hold the rights or processing authorization;
  • not use the Service for fraudulent, illegal activities or activities infringing the rights of third parties;
  • not attempt to circumvent technical limitations (quotas, paywalls) or compromise the security of the Service;
  • not use bots, scripts or any automated means to massively extract data from the Service.

Failure to comply with these obligations may result in suspension or deletion of the account without notice or refund, as well as legal proceedings.

6. Intellectual property

6.1. Service

The Service, its source code, interfaces, editorial content, logos and trademarks are the exclusive property of the Company and are protected by French and international intellectual property law. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation or modification is prohibited.

6.2. User content

Documents uploaded by the User remain their exclusive property. The User grants the Company a limited, free and non-exclusive licence, strictly necessary to provide the Service (storage, AI processing, generation of the filled PDF). This licence ends upon deletion of the document or account.

6.3. Marketplace templates

When a User publishes a template in the public marketplace, they grant the Company and other Users a non-exclusive licence to use the template within the Service. The User warrants that they hold all necessary rights to the published template.

7. Warranties and liability

7.1. Limitation of warranty

The Service is provided “as is”. The Company does not warrant that the Service will be free from errors, uninterrupted, or free from viruses. The Company disclaims any liability as to the accuracy, completeness or legal compliance of results produced by the AI.

7.2. Limitation of liability

The Company's liability, all causes combined, is limited to the total amount of sums actually paid by the User for the Service (Lifetime purchase and/or AI Deep Detect credit packs). The Company shall in no event be held liable for indirect damages (loss of opportunity, loss of data, damage to image, commercial damages). This limitation does not apply in cases of gross or intentional misconduct, nor where prohibited by law (notably bodily injury).

7.3. Force majeure

The Company cannot be held liable for non-performance of its obligations resulting from a force majeure event as defined by French case law.

8. Hyperlinks

The Service may contain links to third-party sites. The Company exercises no control over these sites and disclaims any liability regarding their content, practices or availability. Creating links to iFillPDF is permitted only to the homepage and without implying any affiliation, except with prior written agreement.

9. Cookies and personal data

The processing of personal data and the use of cookies are described in detail in the Privacy Policy.

10. Modification of the Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modifications take effect upon publication. The User will be notified of substantial changes by email or via a banner in the application. Continued use of the Service after publication constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after a failed attempt at amicable resolution, the courts of Paris (France) shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to the consumer's right to bring proceedings before the court of their domicile in accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code.

In accordance with European Directive 2013/11/EU, the consumer User may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR) accessible at: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
