VAT

French VAT 20% applied to French customers (iFillPDF is published by BRK SAS, France).

For EU B2B customers with intra-community VAT number: reverse charge (0 VAT).

Outside EU: no VAT applied.

UK customers: VAT charged via OSS, recoverable for VAT-registered businesses.

Accounting software compatibility

PDF format + structured data (Stripe Tax) compatible with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent, Wave, Zoho Books.

France B2B e-invoicing reform: reception mandate kicks in September 2026, issuance mandate phases from September 2027 (large + mid-size companies) through September 2028 (SMEs and micros) — iFillPDF will issue the Factur-X format (PDF/A-3 + XML CII) directly compatible with PDPs (Plateformes de Dématérialisation Partenaires) for cross-border invoices.

Germany has been on the same trajectory since 1 January 2025 (Wachstumschancengesetz, B2B e-invoice reception mandatory; issuance mandatory from 2027 for >€800k turnover, all firms by 2028 — XRechnung / ZUGFeRD).

To change a detail (company name, EU VAT ID, billing address), go to Workspace > Billing > "Update info" — the next issued invoice reflects the change immediately.
